Search for a request:
To search for a request, click on the request tab under the Approvals module
The requests that are assigned to you and awaiting your approval or action will be under the Inbound tab. Similarly, you can either approve it or request for further information/documentation. The status of these requests can be Open, Awaiting or Closed.
The request that was created by you and assigned to others will be under the My Request tab. The status of these requests can be Open, Awaiting or Closed.
Status of request: The status of the request depends on the status of the request as per user logged in. a) Open: When the request is created and waiting for your action/approval, it will remain under Open status b) Waiting: When the request is awaiting another user's approval/action, the request will be under waiting status. c) Closed: When the request is complete either by approving it or rejecting it, the request will be under Closed status.
Subcategory of Request: You can search for a request depending on the subcategory of the Request.
To view the details and steps taken on a particular Action/Request, click on the details of the desired Action/Request.
Please remember that:
No changes can be done to the request until it is assigned back to you.
To check the current status of the new request, you can click on the details which are visible on the right side of the screen. You can also see the number and flow of steps on the top of the request screen.
An approval can be approved, rejected or need clarification.
